Sterling Silver Amphibole Pendant #1 measures approximately 1/2" x 3/8" x 1/4" (13mm x 10mm x 5mm) without the silver loop and bale and weighs 3.5 grams. It is hard to see the color of this crystal in the photo, but it is a beautiful gold. This lovely Amphibole gem, by itself, weighs 5.2 carats. I hand picked this faceted jewel. Amphibole is a rare crystal. Melody does not have any metaphysical properties listed for Amphibole itself, but I have carried and continue to carry many Amphiboles--Hornblende, Pargasite, Tremolite, Homlsquisite, Arfvedsonite, Eckermannite, Riebeckite, and Richterite. This is a daunting and very special group of minerals that mindat.org calls the Amphibole Supergroup. There are more minerals in the group, but I have listed the ones that you would recognize.
