Smokey Quartz Crystal #15 measures approximately 4 3/4" x 3 1/8" x 2 9/16" (115mm x 80mm x 67mm) and weighs 1 pound 11.2 ounces (699.3 grams). This Smokey has areas that are eroded by another crystal. This is also a Double-Terminated Crystal, and the termination at one end is im-perfect. There are at least two Rainbows, and there is some Mica. This crystal has highs and lows all over the crystal which is quite unique. There is a raised triangle, a large one, on one side of the termination. There is one on the other end of the crystal, too.

Double-Terminated Quartz Crystals pull energy in both ends and send it out of both ends and can do one or the other out of each end as needed. These are useful during dream time and astral projection. This particular type of Quartz is protective of your physical and your mental bodies. They reinforce your Aura. They are an excellent meditation crystal. These are very useful for healing. This formation easily moves the negative energy in a body to a place you have pre-determined so that the energy can be turned to positive energy (i.e., I use the Planet of Nothingness which I visualize as red hot with a cracked black crust over it so that you can see how red hot it is; this planet burns up the negative energy and turns it into positive energy).

Smokey Quartz is most effective on the Solar Plexus Chakra as well as the Minor Chakras of the Hands and Feet. (Every healer knows the Chakras of the Hand and Feet are not Minor Chakras!) It dispels negative emotions (anger, resentment, and negative thought patterns), emotional blockages, and negative energy. This crystal also provides excellent protection and grounding. It's a very good crystal to use for meditation. This crystal's energy is gentle, and it takes time to do its work.
