Rainbow Obsidian #15 measures approximately 2 5/8" x 1 15/16" x 1" (66.7mm x 49.2mm x 25.4mm) and weighs approximately 4.1 ounces (103.7 grams).  This piece is polished on one side and rough on the other.

Obsidian is more or less volcanic glass that comes in a range of colors. Most Obsidian is black and is very grounding and protecting. Obsidian is more connected to Mother Earth than other grounding crystals; the connection is quite strong. It shields you against negativity. It is useful to help healers see the cause of dis-ease.
